The Script Development Programme assists writers to explore an existing script or piece and create a more polished draft.

Writers chosen for the programme are paired with a dramaturge and over a period of 4-6 months, the team works closely and intensively to deliver a new script to our office. Talawa then considers the play for production and will usually support a staged reading with a professional director and actors for the writer's benefit.
