We are energetically engaged with new writing as the main source of our future productions. We already have a history of nurturing and collaborating with outstanding writers such as Derek Walcott, Jackie Kay, Courttia Newland and many others.

Our literary department is happy to continue supporting writers that give voice to the Black British experience. We not only aim to find and develop the best scripts but help build the next generation of writers for Black British drama. We offer a series of services to assist writers at all stages.
